Came in yesterday as a first time patient. I was very impressed by my visit. The staff was welcoming and nice, the tools they use are (far as I can tell) state of the art, and the doctor expressed serious care for my experience as his patient. Specifically, the staff that welcomed me checked me in quickly, and more than one employee thanked me for being patient while they got things set up, which felt nice. They took digital X-rays in addition to scanning my mouth with a different x ray machine that produced a full 3-D model of my mouth with all my cavities inside and out. They also had a digital camera for in situ photographs of my cavities (which I felt was both really cool and really gross). The hygienist was energetic and bright. She was very gentle when telling me Im in the early stages of periodontitis and i'm going to need a deep cleaning. Dr. Villar ("Dr. Ryan") saw that I had a lot of teeth that needed work, and he made his visit all about my care; he paid attention to what was making me uncomfortable and he focused his discussion around what I felt like I needed most. In general I think a lot of the employees could tell that being at the dentist was stressful for me and everyone approached that with attention and care. When processing my insurance, again, more than one employee thanked me for my patience. I'm not excited about a root canal but I'm happy that I'll be going back here for it. :) Edit: and no one yelled at me when I accidentally walked out with the plastic shades in my hand ://
